As the strong right arm of the church, Knights of Columbus are committed to providing moral, financial and spiritual support to our future priests and religious at all stages of their formation. In years past, Council 9499 has hosted an annual bingo to provide scholarships to seminarians in the Diocese of Charlotte. This event has typically raised more than $5,500 and provided support for up to 11 Seminarians (more than any other Council in North Carolina). Due to the pandemic, we have been unable to host our annual “Support Our Seminarians Bingo” event; however, our future priests still need our assistance.

The Diocese of Charlotte has 41 seminarians in formation this year. This year, we are asking Brother Knights, friends, family, and fellow parishioners to consider making a monetary donation to help us provide scholarships to future priests. For every $500 given to an individual, the Supreme Council will match us an additional $100. Thank you and god bless!
