Knights Bowl to Strike Out Cancer
On March 24th, 2019, Council 9499 sponsored its first annual Knights Bowl to Strike Out Cancer Bowl-a-thon at Northside Lanes in Winston-Salem. The event was attended by many children, our Community, and Brother Knights. About 70 people participated in the event and raised more than $3,000 for the Wake Forest Cancer Research Center.
This year, with the help of many Brother Knights, our local NBC television affiliate, WXII, and the Wake Forest Cancer Hospital, we hope to grow this event and increase our donations. This event is a fun event for our youth and also teaches them of the needs in our community.
Our 2020 Knights Bowl to Strike Out Cancer Bowl-a-thon will be held on March 1st, 2020 at Northside Lanes in Winston-Salem. All are invited to attend.
