Father & Daughter Dance
On February 16th, 2019, Council 9499 hosted their annual Father & Daughter Dance for members of our parish. Each February, for many years our Council has sponsored the Father & Daughter Dance. It is meant to provide a setting where daughters can experience how young ladies should be treated by gentlemen. There were 120 attendees at the event.
On February 22nd, 2020, the Council will hold the annual father and daughter dance at Holy Family Church in Clemmons, NC. The dance has over 100 attendees annually, with last year’s total of 120 looking to be exceeded. Knights will bring their daughters, granddaughters, and nieces to this very special event where great food, music, a craft, and of course a lot of dancing will take place. The theme of this year’s event is Frozen II, with decorations consisting of lighted snowflakes and stars , and other “wintery” items. Complimentary photography is provided by one of the Knights’ families in the Council, so that each girl can go home with a photo to remember the night. This event is a wonderful occasion each year where Knights show their special dates a great evening, and an example of how ladies should be treated by gentlemen. This year expects to be no different.
